3 Tips For Hitting Up The Outlet Mall While On Vacation

As the mother of a child with autism, I know just how hard it can be to find vitamins and other supplements for kids with sensory issues. I've spent many years experimenting with different types of products to find the ones that work for my son and, in the process, I've learned a lot. Knowing that I'm not the only one who must be struggling with this, I created this site to share my experiences and the outcome of our trial and error. I hope that the information here not only helps you feel less alone in the process but also makes it easier for you to find options that may work for your kids.

If you are going on vacation somewhere that has a great outdoor shopping center, and you want to hit up the mall and score some good deals while on your vacation, you are going to want to have a plan in place to ensure that you are able to get the deals that you are looking for.

Eat Breakfast Before Heading Out

First, you are going to want to make sure that you eat breakfast before you get in your car to head to the outlet mall. You are going to want to get to the outlet mall as soon as it opens, and you want to have the energy to shop as long as possible without taking a break. Taking a break to eat will draw out your time at the shopping mall and will stop your momentum, so you want to be able to shop for as long as possible before you need to get lunch.

Get There Early

If you are going on vacation where there is an outlet mall, you are going to more than likely encounter a lot of other individuals who are interested in getting a good deal at the outlet mall while on vacation. That is why you are going to want to get to the outlet mall early.

For example, if the outlet mall opens at 10 a.m, plan on getting to the outlet mall by 9:30 a.m. That will give you time to find a parking spot. It will also give you a chance to walk around the outlet mall and orientate yourself with where all the stores are at that you want to shop at. Since it is an outlet mall, you don't have to wait for the stores to officially open to walk around, figure out the layout, and even do a little window shopping.

When the shops actually open, you'll know where you want to go.

Have A List of Store

Next, you want to have a plan of where you want to go. Look at the list of stores online ahead of time, and come up with a list of all the stores that you want to visit. Print out a map of the outlet mall, and circle all the stores that you want to visit. This can help you create a path and a plan for which stores you want to visit first and in what order.

For example, you may want to visit all the clothing stores in a row before moving onto the home decorating stores, even if the stores are spread out around the mall. Or perhaps you want to cut down on walking, in which case hitting up all the stores in order of proximity makes the most sense.

If you want to hit up the outlet mall on your next vacation, eat breakfast before you head out, get there early to scope out the place, and have a list of plans and a plan for visiting them before you head out. This will help you visit the stores you want to and get the best deals possible.
